Who it's for
- Your child selects with eye gaze, touch, or both.
- They have things to say and want to write them down themselves.
- An alphabet ring keeps every letter within easy reach of their gaze.
- Prediction learns your child's own words over time, so their favorites come up first.
- Invented spelling is welcome: typing "kat" offers cat, so a good guess still gets them there.
- When they want to, a finished piece of writing can be emailed to family. That is optional and always their choice to send.
Private by design
Runs fully on your computer. Your child's writing and the words their prediction learns stay on your machine. Emailing a piece to family is optional; nothing is sent unless you choose to send it.
One small installer. You choose which apps on the welcome screen. If Windows warns you, choose “More info”, then “Run anyway”. Nothing is wrong, we’re just a new publisher it hasn’t met yet. (If the browser holds the download back, choose Keep.)
The installer and the app still carry the name New ERA until the next release.
